Malta Stock Exchange Institute to launch investor information portal

The Malta Stock Exchange Institute is launching a financial portal for investors, aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of international and Maltese listed companies.

The portal, expected to be launched in January 2026, lays out its mission as being to “empower both seasoned investors and newcomers with professional-grade tools and data to confidently navigate the Maltese stock market”.

It promises to provide “clear, unbiased, and actionable research”, presenting all the data in a way that would be accessible to all, therefore helping to education and inform the investment community.

Chairman Joseph Portelli recently told WhosWho.mt that one aim of the portal – www.investi.com.mt – was to increase participation in the local capital market. It will provide not only information about listed companies and their history over the previous decade, but will also analyse trends, making it easier for investors to make informed decisions. Apart from financial data about companies, it will also include articles, news updates and other educational content.

The portal will be an educational initiative by the Institute, which also plans to expand it over time to offer interactive functions such as portfolio performance.

As part of its financial literacy agenda, the Malta Stock Exchange is also working with the University of Malta and MCAST to develop a trading simulator championship, spread over a year, more details of which will be available in due course.
