Over 600 international delegates attended a high-profile networking event organised at the 15th century Guildhall in London in early December, which was the brainchild of the Malta Financial Services Advisory Council (MFSAC). The event was organised by FinanceMalta with the help of 24 sponsors, with a considerable number of local operators attending to meet their international counterparts.

The aim of the timely networking event was also to showcase Malta’s standing as an international financial jurisdiction and to attract foreign direct investment. Delegates were updated on the MFSAC strategy for financial services.

The event was addressed by the Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council Lord Marland, FinanceMalta chairman George Vella, the chair of the MFSAC Joseph Zammit Tabona, and Malta’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom & Northern Ireland Emanuel Mallia.
