The Role of the Company Secretary
This 4-hour programme focuses on the role of the Company Secretary in Maltese companies. The main aim of the programme is to provide a good understanding of the legal principles relevant to company secretaries and provide a practical context to each of them. The course will include case studies designed to reinforce key topics addressed throughout the sessions and to illustrate how to make use of the comprehensive practical guidance in the course notes.The course is suited to individuals who aspire to be or have just been appointed Company Secretary of a Maltese company, all those individuals who hold senior management positions and want to gain an understanding of the legal responsibilities, role and duties of the Company Secretary, including mandatory MFSA returns. This course will also be useful to Financial Controllers, Company Directors, Accountants and Auditors, Lawyers/Law Students, and Corporate Services Providers.An assessment will be given at the end of the training programme.
