TAX COMPLIANCE SERIES: 2 – TAX RETURNS FOR COMPANIES
Part 1: 9 March 2023 (17.00 – 20.00)Part 2: 16 March (17.00 – 20.00)A 2-part workshop the purpose of which is to assist attendees with the completion of corporate income tax returns and to address various issues and difficulties which may arise when completing the returns. During the seminar, practical scenarios will be presented to demonstrate, inter alia, how different sources of income are reportable in the income tax return and how different corporate vehicles treated as companies could impact such reporting. The basis of taxation applicable to companies will also be considered.The session will be based on the return for YA2023 (if available)This will be a practical workshop such that, based on the practical scenarios provided, attendees will be completing income tax returns.

- THOMAS ZAMMIT - Thomas is a Manager as part of the tax function of KPMG Malta, having joined during 2016 after completing the Master in Accountancy degree at the University of Malta. He also completed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation which is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Thomas currently specialises in the international tax field and has assisted multinationals is setting up structures in Malta and maintaining same both from a compliance perspective as well as from an ongoing advisory aspect. Thomas is also involved in the delivery of technical presentations to colleagues, clients, industry specialists and other professionals.
