REVIEW OF LOCAL JUDICIAL DECISIONS: 2022
The seminar shall review, in detail, the most pertinent judgements concerning Income Tax and VAT delivered by the Administrative Review Tribunal and the Court of Appeal for the period January to November 2022, under the ordinary contestation procedure (i.e. appeals from assessments).If relevant, consideration will also be given to decisions rendered by the courts of civil jurisdiction on matters other than appeals from assessments, including judicial review of administrative action.

- DR CHRISTOPHER BERGEDAHL - Christopher is a Senior Manager at Deloitte Malta having joined in 2014 as part of its LL.D. Pathway Programme. Christopher provides support in both local and foreign client engagements within the team.In 2017 he graduated summa cum laude from the International Tax Center Leiden following which he served as a Teaching Assistant for the Fall Term of the 2017-2018 class.
- DR JAKE DESIRA - Jake is currently a senior within the Tax and Legal service line at Deloitte Malta. Jake mainly focuses on international tax advisory engagements with a particular focus on tax controversy and dispute resolution.
