The session will delve into the salient EU VAT updates, starting off with a discussion of salient cases decided by the Court of Justice of the EU (‘CJEU’) and highlighting pending CJEU cases which could be of interest in the domestic sphere. Furthermore, the session will provide an update on VAT discussions at EU level on other matters including CESOP and the VAT in the digital age proposals (ViDA).
