Kenneth Farrugia - Governor - FinanceMalta - Kenneth Farrugia joined Bank of Valletta, Malta’s largest banking group, in 1985 and has since occupied various positions within the Bank, where he currently holds the post of Chief Business Development Officer and sits on the Group’s Management Board. Kenneth is responsible for the improvement of the Bank’s market position, and the achievement of financial growth and long-term strategic business goals. Kenneth is a Governor of FinanceMalta, and also serves as Chairman of the MASA.
Dr Alexander Lindemann - Partner - LINDEMANNLAW, President - Swiss Capitalmarket Forum - Dr Alexander Lindemann is partner at LINDEMANNLAW. As a lawyer and tax adviser he advises investment funds, asset managers, private clients, investors, and banks in legal, regulatory and tax matters. He advises in the structuring of Investment Funds, Securitisations, Holdings, Foundations, Trusts, in various jurisdictions. He is a frequent speaker and publisher on capital market and tax issues. Alexander is board member of a Listed Alternative Fund, a Real Estate Fund, and a pension fund.
Nicholas Micallef - Advocate - Ganado Advocates - Nicholas is an Advocate within Ganado Advocates investment services & funds team. His main areas of practice include the licensing of Collective Investments Schemes and investment services providers, as well as compliance, governance, regulatory advice, restructuring and winding-up of such entities. Prior to joining the firm, Nicholas assisted with the first transformation of a SICAV to an incorporated cell under a RICC in Malta, and with the registration & recognition of the first LPVC in Malta

It is also the Listing and Resolution Authority. The MFSA regulates banking, financial institutions, payment institutions, insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, investment services companies and collective investment schemes, securities markets, recognised investment exchanges, trust management companies, company services providers and pension schemes.
Mark Caruana Scicluna - Senior Associate - Ganado Advocates - Mark is a Senior Associate within Ganado Advocates investment services & funds team. He focuses on the structuring, licensing and ongoing servicing of collective investment schemes, asset management firms and other investment service providers. Mark also regularly assists in fintech and blockchain projects and general corporate and commercial matters. Mark previously worked in the corporate and insurance teams at Ganado Advocates.

Aronne Debono - Head Business Development & Corporate Services - BOV Fund Services - Aronne joined BOV Asset Management in 1999 and subsequently BOV Fund Services in 2006. He has experience in the valuations and financial operations of the company, was for a number of years the Compliance Officer and MLRO of the company, and is also experienced in operational risk matters. Today Aronne is heading the Business Development and Corporate Services Division. His role entails generating and increasing new business for the company whilst managing the relationship with all stakeholders.
