Day 1 begins with a global framing of the current international and European challenges. We reveal the 17th EY Malta Attractiveness Survey, this year carried out within the context of COVID-19 and the FATF’s grey listing. Find out where foreign investors believe Malta is doing well and what can be improved. Finally, we look at a Malta Reimagined, with the onus on businesses – large and small, and people from all walks of life to help build a better Malta.

20 October | 10:00

 

Day 2, held in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise, and Industry, commences with a quick look at innovation trends taking place now, next and beyond. We then look at innovation and how Malta can play to its strengths with a deep-dive into the e-health and health sector as a driver for growth. Manufacturing, a cornerstone of Malta’s economy has an even greater role going forward – listen to key players and find out what kept the industry so relevant and where it’s going next. Finally, with clean energy investment increasing in recent years we speak to experts to understand the role and where Malta goes next.

Day 3 is all about people, skills, education and Malta’ youths and held in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise, and Industry.
We start with a debate on the future of work and education, what does this mean in practice and how can Malta capitalise? We reveal the 4th EY Generate Youth Survey which gathered the views of over 700 Generation-Z and Millennials in Malta. The surveys purpose is to provide public and private sector leaders with deeper insights into the thinking of Malta’s younger generations, their similarities and differences. 22 October | 14:00

 

Future Realised Week comes to an end with a key focus on sustainability, long-term value and what companies can do to help build a better working Malta. We start with global speakers and figure out what does long-term, sustainable value really mean? We then speak with local architects on the construction and development challenges being faced. Finally, a distinguished panel of local experts provides their views on the role of business to continue stimulating economic growth but not at the peril of the environment.
