This programme is primarily of interest to those who may be aspiring to take on the role of a NED at a bank or are currently in the process of being vetted by the MFSA for that prospective role.This initiative was triggered off by the MFSA last year via a letter to the MBA Chair on the 28th of June 2022 – which was copied to every Chair of each member bank. This resulted in the MBA Board being immediately supportive that a programme of this nature is to be held and thus, together with the help of our colleagues at IFS Malta, a strong training programme which is to be delivered by a renowned speaker from the LBFI was developed. The programme would besides gaining CPE hours, will also have the added benefit of the MFSA recognising that this training was undertaken in pursuance of an objective laid down by the same Authority itself.All FinanceMalta members that are interested to attend should do so at the earliest possible as places are very limited and will be dealt with on a first-come-first-served basis.
