Vaiva Kiaupaite-Gruisniene

Vaiva holds a Doctoral degree from TalTech, with a research focus on cash flow management and the design of cash flow statements. She brings over 25 years of experience spanning both the education sector and private enterprise.

In the private sector, Vaiva has served on the boards of companies across various industries, including B2B trading, agriculture, real estate, and renewable energy, with a particular focus on financial management and strategic oversight.

In academia, she has an extensive background in teaching and research, especially in the fields of accounting and finance. Her recent work centers on the role of ESG and accounting practices in corporate sustainability, as well as innovative approaches to teaching accounting to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Vaiva is also actively engaged in the community and in professional networks. She is a member of Rotary International, the International Women's Club of Tallinn, and currently serves as President of the Lithuanian Professionals Club in Tallinn (a member organization of the Global Lithuanian Leaders (GLL) network).
