Trudy Kerr
Having studied and graduated as a graphic designer, Trudy has enjoyed 20 years in the design and communications industry across 4 countries and 3 continents, from strategy to hands on design, creative direction to media production.
In 2013 she jumped at the opportunity to try something different, and her career took a new direction as she ventured into radio and television presenting and production, and live events presenting. Producing over 400 television shows, presenting 250 shows meant taking on new skills such as script writing, running order creation, branding, financials and so much more.
Trudy’s journey led her to full time drive time radio DJ and show production, live events MC, and then onto the passion project of The SHE Word - a female-centric podcast.
Through a new career in media she found her first love - interviewing. Over the past 12 years she has 'clocked up' over 1,500 interviews - from Prime Ministers and Presidents to Pop stars and Personalities. But also the unknown individual with an empowering story.
