Pedro Noronha
Pedro is an experienced investment professional who began his career in 2000 as an M&A analyst at Merrill Lynch in London. In 2003, he joined JP Morgan’s Proprietary Positioning team, specialising in risk arbitrage and special situations across Europe. By age 27, he was managing a portfolio exceeding $1 billion.
Pedro founded Noster Capital in 2008, currently managing ca. $100 million in assets, with majority of capital coming from the investment team. He has been a regular CNBC Squawk Box Europe guest-host and has received several industry awards, including Financial News’ Top 40 under 40 in Hedge Funds (in 2011 and 2012) and the EuroHedge award for best emerging manager in Europe last year.
Pedro is an avid surfer, having won a world junior championship in 1993 with the Portuguese National Surf Team.
