Represents the Malta Insurance Association and the Association of Insurance Brokers

Mr Pavia started his insurance career in 1981 and in 1989 Mr Pavia was instrumental in setting up Island Insurance Brokers Ltd. Since its inception he has been its Managing Director. He was elected Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1985 and a Fellow in 1987.

Mr Pavia specialises in Risk Management particularly that relating to property and business interruption and has serviced a number of major corporate clients and handled a number of major infrastructure projects on the Islands.

For a number of years Mr Pavia served on the Council of the Association of Insurance Brokers, and currently holds the position of President. In the past he has served as Chairman of the Insurance Trade Section of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise.
