The College of Stockbroking Firms is composed of all stockbroking members of the Malta Stock Exchange.

The College’s objective is governed by The Financial Markets Act (Act 33 of 1990) Chapter 345 of the Laws of Malta to:-

i)                   tender advice to the Malta Stock Exchange Council on matters affecting trading procedures;

ii)                  to report to Council any matters of concern to the members of the Malta Stock Exchange or incidental to the proper functioning of the Exchange;

iii)                to examine any complaint and/or report received from members of the Malta Stock Exchange, clients and/or the Malta Stock Exchange Council of alleged misconduct or failure in maintaining the highest ethical standards or any alleged failure of a member to comply with the Act, Statute and bye-laws;

iv)                to report to the Malta Stock Exchange Council on any findings whatsoever and to make recommendation as the College may deem necessary.

 In addition, The College of Stockbroking Firms seeks to promote the Malta Stock Exchange amongst investors.
